I have no sympathy for those who don't
serve their country. There were many in Germany who didn't
fight, you see what happened to them. If you were waiting
for God to reach down and get you out of that mess he didn't
do it for the **** he won't do it for jw or any other faith.
You see God gave us each other, and am I my brother's
keeper, I think so. If you can't be brave and stand up for
yourself, why should anyone else. Yellow bellies, plain and

JW organization definitely does pose a
danger, not only to national states, but also to the
psychological well being of their citizens. The reason
for this is that the principle teaching of JW's,
is that all modern day states must eventually come to an
end.
According to Jehovah's Witnesses, this
destruction of modern day states, will be necessary in
order for a global Watchtower society JW government to
eventually rule the world. This, JW's claim, is Gods
will, and it does not take much to realise that, in view
of their beliefs, that it is unavoidable that JW's will
support any action or sequence of events that will bring
their prophecy to fruition.
The future sequence of events that JW's
believe will take place according to their Biblical
prophecy, is that in the very near future every
religious organization, except theirs, will be
destroyed, by the military political branches of every
state, this will be followed by a war, in which their
"God", fighting on the side of their religious
organization, will in turn bring an end to every
political state. It doesn't take a lot to conclude that
JW's are not only enemies of every other religion, but
also of every political state.
Although JW's claim to be conscientious
objectors and will not fight a war on the side of any
political state, they are not anti-war,
and will be well prepared to fight a war on their "Gods"
side, against any political state, if called upon, by
their "God", to do so, in the future. I feel they they
definitely do pose a threat, as a doomsday cult.

of Revelation that leads all nations in a fight against God

What a safe haven they have in the United

the Nazi regime, 6,019 JWs were arrested. Of those,
2,000 were put into concentration camps. Of those, 635
died. Of those, 203 had actually been executed. (1974
Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses, p. 212)

Lots of religions are

deceiving as they have just as much criminal activity as any

As for Jehovah's Witnesses and other minority sects like them, they are often in opposition to governments. Their members don't join the military, and are discouraged from taking on alternative service in countries where conscription is in operation. They have no particular respect for any government, despite any claims they make otherwise. In short, their stance is an unpopular one with some governments, and while I hate to see discrimination on the grounds of belief directed against any group, it's easy to understand why some governments can become frustrated by the Watchtower's blatant disregard for their authority.

offered the option of National
Alternative Service to work in various
fields such as forestry, parks,
hospitals etc. Young men were at liberty
to choose, but the choice of Alternative
Service for JW men, carried with it the
automatic disqualification to be viewed
a JW in good standing, (disfellowshipped)
subject to rejection and shunning by the
Witness community, family and friends,
with no hope of a resurrection.
Consequently, the refusal of young JW
men to accept Alternative Service
resulted in an automatic prison term of
several years in penal institutions.
This resulted in leaving jobs and, if
married, leaving unsupported family and
children, being separated for years.
Then in May 1996, WT reversed its policy
leaving the decision up to the
individual’s conscience (as it should
be), no longer resulting in an automatic
disassociation (disfellowshipped). These
questions beg an answer: why was this
policy maintained for decades resulting
in needless imprisonment? Alternative
Service, a disfellowshipping sin for
decades prior to May 1996, was no longer
a crime against God after that date?

I find it disturbing that a 103 year old JW
and a sensitive topic is being used to promote a religion
that terrorized me growing up as a small child in the JW
faith on how all these same horrific 'persecutions' were
awaiting me in the final great tribulation.

Since the end of World War II, leaders of the Jehovah's Witness movement in both Germany and elsewhere have steadfastly argued that Witnesses were united in their opposition to Nazism and did not collude with the Third Reich. Documents have been uncovered, however, that prove otherwise. Using materials from Witness archives, the U.S. State Department, Nazi files, and other sources, M. James Penton demonstrates that while many ordinary German Witnesses were brave in their opposition to Nazism, their leaders were quite prepared to support the Hitler government. Penton begins his study with a close reading of the "Declaration of Facts" released by the Witnesses at a Berlin convention in June 1933. Witness leaders have called the document a protest against Nazi persecution, however closer examination shows it contained bitter attacks on Great Britain and the United States – jointly referred to as "the greatest and most oppressive empire on earth" – the League of Nations, big business, and above all, Jews, who are referred to as "the representatives of Satan the Devil." It was later, in 1933 – when the Nazis would not accept Witness blandishments – that leader J.F. Rutherford called on Witnesses to seek martyrdom by carrying on a campaign of passive resistance. Many ultimately died in prisons and concentration camps, and postwar Witness leaders have attempted to use this fact to assert that Jehovah's Witnesses stood consistently against Nazism.
